Regulatory Changes -

CQC Registration - Now Required
New 2025/26 regulations remove exemptions that allowed some event medical providers to operate without CQC registration. Any provider treating disease, disorder or injury at events must now be registered.

Events with 200+ attendees will face new legal duties around security planning and emergency preparedness. Enhanced tier obligations apply to events with 800+ attendees. Enforcement expected from 2027.
