Our fire safety training credentials

All our trainers have PTTLS, CTTLS and DTTLS qualifications, as well as attending a wide range of FPA courses, and attaining IFE qualifications. We also have full knowledge of British Standards legislation, enabling your business to remain safe and compliant at all stages. How your fire safety services work

If you need fire safety for an event, business or venue you can contact us via phone or email, with the details of your event and venue, and the timeframes involved. From there, we can perform a site visit and provide a risk assessment to help you decide on the amount of cover you will need, along with a quote for our services.

With EMFS, you will be allocated a customer relationship manager, who will liaise with you throughout the process, and help you make informed decisions on fire safety as you run your event. At all times our staff and equipment will be on standby, ready to attend to any emergency.

 

 

 

Full fire risk assessments

As a landlord or business owner, or a person organising an event, you are responsible for carrying out fire risk assessments of your premises or venue. We can perform a full fire risk assessment on your behalf, and provide a written record of your assessment for insurance and health and safety recordkeeping. 

As part of your risk assessments we will consider: 

  • Emergency routes and exits
  • Fire detection and warning systems

  • Firefighting equipment
  • The removal or safe storage of dangerous substances
  • An emergency fire evacuation plan
  • The needs of vulnerable people, e.g. the elderly, young children or those with disabilities
  • Providing information to employees and other people on the premises
  • Staff fire safety training
