This notice explains how EMFS Group Ltd ("EMFS", "we", "us") handles personal data collected through this website, emfsgroup.com. It sits alongside our main Privacy Notice, which covers the personal data we hold about patients, service users, staff, customers and suppliers more broadly.
Who we are
EMFS Group Ltd is the data controller for personal data collected through this website. We are registered with the Information Commissioner's Office (registration number ZA801937).
If you have any questions about this notice or your personal data, contact our Data Protection Officer at dataprotection@emfsgroup.com, or write to the Data Protection Officer, EMFS Group Ltd, Downside Farm, Woodway Road, Blewbury, Didcot, Oxfordshire, United Kingdom, OX11 9EX.
What we collect through this website
We do not collect patient or health information through this website. The only personal data you actively provide is through our contact / enquiry form, namely your name, email address, telephone number (if you give it) and the content of your message. When you submit the form, this information is sent to us by email so that we can respond to your enquiry.
In addition, like most websites, our site automatically collects limited technical information through cookies (see below), such as your IP address and basic usage data.
Why we use it, and our lawful basis
We use the information from the enquiry form solely to respond to you and deal with your enquiry. Our lawful basis for this is our legitimate interests, specifically, your interest in receiving a reply and our interest in responding to enquiries about our services. For non-essential cookies, our lawful basis is your consent, which you give through our cookie banner.
Cookies
This website is built and hosted on the Wix platform. Wix automatically places essential cookies on your device when you visit, which are necessary for security, load balancing, and for the site to function. These do not require consent.
Where non-essential cookies (for example, analytics) are used, we will only place them with your consent, which you can give, decline, or customise through the cookie banner shown when you first visit. You can change your choice at any time using the cookie settings icon, visible on every page of this site.
Website analytics
With your consent, we use Wix Analytics, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity to understand how visitors use this site. These only run if you accept.
We use Google Tag Manager to load these tools based on your consent choices. Tag Manager itself does not set cookies or collect data.
These services may collect information such as your IP address (which may be shortened or anonymised where applicable), browser type, device information, pages visited, time spent on the site and interactions with the website. This information is used only to monitor and improve the performance and user experience of our website and is not used to identify you directly.
Wix Analytics, Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity will only be activated after you have given your consent through our cookie banner. You can withdraw or change your consent at any time using the cookie settings icon, visible on every page of this site.
Who handles your data (our processors)
Our website is hosted by Wix.com Ltd, which acts as our data processor for information processed through the site, under its Data Processing Agreement. Enquiries submitted through the form are delivered to our own email system so that our team can reply.
Transfers outside the UK
Because our site is hosted on Wix, some data may be stored or processed on servers located outside the UK, including in the United States, the European Union and Israel. Where this happens, it is covered by appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) set out in Wix's Data Processing Agreement.
How long we keep it
We keep enquiry messages only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, after which they are deleted in line with our retention schedule. We do not add website enquirers to any marketing list without consent.
Your rights
You have rights over your personal data, including the right to be informed, to access a copy, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased in certain circumstances, and to object to or restrict certain processing. To exercise any of these, contact our Data Protection Officer using the details above.
Your right to complain
If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you can complain directly to us. Since 19 June 2026, under section 164A of the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to make a data protection complaint to EMFS as the controller. Contact our Data Protection Officer at dataprotection@emfsgroup.com; we will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, investigate it and tell you the outcome.
You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at any time, at ico.org.uk, by calling 0303 123 1113, or by writing to the Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, SK9 5AF.
