What we collect through this website

We do not collect patient or health information through this website. The only personal data you actively provide is through our contact / enquiry form, namely your name, email address, telephone number (if you give it) and the content of your message. When you submit the form, this information is sent to us by email so that we can respond to your enquiry.

In addition, like most websites, our site automatically collects limited technical information through cookies (see below), such as your IP address and basic usage data.


Why we use it, and our lawful basis

We use the information from the enquiry form solely to respond to you and deal with your enquiry. Our lawful basis for this is our legitimate interests, specifically, your interest in receiving a reply and our interest in responding to enquiries about our services. For non-essential cookies, our lawful basis is your consent, which you give through our cookie banner.

Transfers outside the UK

Because our site is hosted on Wix, some data may be stored or processed on servers located outside the UK, including in the United States, the European Union and Israel. Where this happens, it is covered by appropriate safeguards (such as standard contractual clauses) set out in Wix's Data Processing Agreement.

How long we keep it

We keep enquiry messages only for as long as we need them to deal with your enquiry and any follow-up, after which they are deleted in line with our retention schedule. We do not add website enquirers to any marketing list without consent.

Your rights

You have rights over your personal data, including the right to be informed, to access a copy, to have inaccurate data corrected, to have data erased in certain circumstances, and to object to or restrict certain processing. Your right to complain

If you are unhappy with how we have handled your personal data, you can complain directly to us. Since 19 June 2026, under section 164A of the Data Protection Act 2018, you have the right to make a data protection complaint to EMFS as the controller. Contact our Data Protection Officer at dataprotection@emfsgroup.com; we will acknowledge your complaint within 30 days, investigate it and tell you the outcome.

You also have the right to complain to the Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) at any time, at ico.org.uk, by calling 0303 123 1113, or by writing to the Information Commissioner's Office, Wycliffe House, Water Lane, Wilmslow, SK9 5AF. We would appreciate the chance to address your concerns first.
